First and foremost, I am a husband to my soulmate, Katia, and a proud father of three incredible children: Mariana, Alejandro, and Itzel. My family is my greatest inspiration and the foundation of everything I do.
Although I have had the privilege of serving as an Executive Chef, professor, culinary consultant, and business leader throughout my career, I proudly call myself a cook. A title simply describes a position; being a cook defines who I am. My passion has always been creating memorable experiences through food and bringing people together around the table.
Originally from Cuernavaca, Mexico, my culinary journey has taken me across Mexico, Europe, the United States, and Canada. Along the way, I have led award-winning kitchens, taught future chefs , mentored culinary professionals, and partnered with restaurants and hospitality leaders to help their businesses grow. Every experience has strengthened my belief that great food begins with respect—for quality ingredients, culinary traditions, and the people we serve.
For me, cooking is far more than preparing a meal. It is an expression of creativity, passion, culture, and hospitality. Whether I am preparing an intimate private dinner, mentoring aspiring chefs, or collaborating with industry professionals, my mission remains the same: to create unforgettable experiences that nourish both the body and the soul.
Today, my cuisine reflects the journey that has shaped me—simple yet elegant, respectful yet daring, consistent yet creative.
